Rooster are an oval shaped Irish potato variety easily distinguishable by their smooth russet dark red skin and shallow eyes. With a fluffy floury yellow flesh and a deep earthy flavour, they are very versatile lending themselves particularly well to roasting, baking/jacket potatoes, chipping and boiling. They are a good all-round variety.

Storage Guidelines:
For optimum results, your fresh Potatoes are best stored in a frost-free, airy, cool, dark and dry place to avoid greening.
It’s best to handle Potatoes gently to prevent bruising or damage.
It’s also important to be aware that where Potatoes are packed in plastic, they should ideally be taken out of the bag as soon as possible, to retain their optimum condition and prevent untimely spoiling.
