Quality is a priority at Slaney Farms. All our potatoes are grown in virgin soil spanning several farms throughout the county of Wexford. To maintain our strict quality standards the soil is tested and any necessary nutrients added to ensure excellent flavour prevails.
Using only chemicals approved by the Irish Department of Agriculture and minimum rates where possible, we strive towards eco-friendly production.
Our main crop potatoes are stored in quality controlled refrigerated storage and the temperature is maintained at an even 3°C in purpose built stores. We have capacity for 4000 tonnes, ensuring consistency in quality and supply – all year round.
Health & Safety are of paramount importance at Slaney Farms. With our facility audited yearly by Bord Bia, we are proud of the fact we are consistently compliant.
